Experiences

Just a moment ago, I experienced a panic attack and well, I am trying to make the best out of the situation. So, I thought, why not be grateful for the wide array of experiences I have got at such a young age already? It turns out panic has widened my perspective. I am just a teenager and I have literally had so many crazy experiences.

I know what it is like to have your hand shiver so much that you had to give in an incomplete assignment. I also know what it is like to write for hours at a stretch without even realizing.

I know what it is like to study like a breeze (or in many cases not study at all) and still manage to come out on top of the class. I also know what it is like to try the hardest and not be able to study. Or not get the perfect grades.

I know what it is like to bully. I know what it is like to be bullied.

I know how it is to judge people. And I know how it is to be judged in the exact same way.

I know the feeling when you just write something amazing in a few seconds. I know the feeling when you can’t write something for the life of you.

I know the feeling of extreme elation and sheer desperation.

I know how it is to not be able to put a book down and I know how it is to not be able to bring yourself to read.

I know how it is to despise going to so many parties that you are invited to and I know how it is to not get a single invitation in months.

I know how it is to be annoyed with your friends and how it is when you have no friends.

I know it. The silly joys, the hollow depression, the surprises, the disappointments, the ease, the hardship, the laughter and the cries.

And for this, I am eternally grateful.
